a satisfactory stay
friendly staff comfortable bed dirty stairs broken door
the staff were friendly and cute i liked that. the room was clean the bed was comfortable. i also appreciated the good selection at breakfast i found several options.
the stairs needed hoovering that's true. the door to my room had a spring i trapped my hand. the shower could be modernised i did not use it.

friendly staff delicious food comfortable bed
The staff were very friendly and cute (I really appreciated their help). The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. My room was clean and included a comfortable bed with nice bedding.
The bedroom looked tired and needed some brightening up.

The breakfast was good. I enjoyed a drink in the pub close to the hotel after arrival. The location IS great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was nice and the room felt clean and cosy. The room had a large TV.

This place offers convenient access to transportation as the bus into the city stops across the road. The proximity to other pubs and country walks adds to the appeal. I appreciated the hotel being located in a nice residential area.

My double room came with a private bathroom. I found a comfortable bed equipped with nice pillows and white linen. The shower had a hot, strong flow. Good quality teabags were also provided.

some issues encountered
stained teacup salty gammon
The stairs needed vacuuming. the door to my room was spring-loaded. It trapped my hand, causing a painful bruise. The shower definitely needed modernisation, so I didn't use it. The evening meal was not great. I ordered the gammon. It was too salty to eat, and the waitress agreed after trying it. My breakfast tea cup was stained. I didn't drink from it.
